Deze nieuwsbrief krijgen jullie maandelijks tenzij je laat weten: ophouden! Hij dient om jullie op de hoogte te houden van de planning. Er was al een vervelend incident. Ben en Lia meenden op de bemanningslijst te staan en inmiddels waren er al anderen.

Ik doe het als volgt.

Verderop in de nieuwsbrief staat een planning van data (jr/mnd/dag), bestemming en bemanning en voor zover bekend. Wie wil 'aanmonsteren' laat dat weten. Wie het eerst komt, het eerst maalt. 'Stand by' betekent nog niet zeker, maar als een ander zich daarna voor de zelfde tijd aanmeldt, krijgt de reserve eerst een herkansing, voor de nieuwe aanmelding definitief wordt. 'Open' betekent dat er voor die periode nog bemanning bij kan.

Het prettigst vaar je met z'n vieren. Voor korte tijd is overbezetting mogelijk.

Berichten gaan per email-attach(WP), email-gewoon, fax of slakkenpost. Laat mij weten of je per email bereikbaar bent.

Ik houd mij aanbevolen voor suggesties voor andere bemanningsleden. Onderaan de planning-lijst staat de huidige groslijst.

ANANDA is op de TRINTELLA Shipyard in 's Hertogenbosch, uit het water. Romp en roer krijgen wat zorg. Ook worden de anodes zo nodig vervangen en de transducer van de log krijgt een betere plek, zodat hij goed aanwijst.

De generator is geïnspecteerd. Er zijn onderdelen vernieuwd en er is een prachtige lijst met reserve-onderdelen.

Wat er met de machine gaat gebeuren, is nog onzeker.

Er is een Nera Worldphone besteld.

The ship has a name: ANANDA. Luba says it means eternal joy and heaven on earth. That seems to be a nice place for travel and rest.

This newsletter will be sent monthly, unless you tell us: stop! It will keep you informed about the planning. That proved to be necessary. There was an unpleasant event. Two people believed to be registered as crew and in the mean time I had engaged others. I'll act as follows.

The next part of the newsletter will show the current planning of dates (yr/month/ day) destinations and crew. Those who want to join, should let me know. First come, first serve. 'Stand by' means not 100% certain. If someone else applies for the same period, the 'stand by person' gets a chance to upgrade his position to 'definite'. If he doesn't, the certain applicants go first. 'Open' means that for that period more crew is welcome.

The preferred number of people on board is four. For short periods we can have more.

We are in for suggestions about possible other crew. At the end of the planning there is my current mailing list.

ANANDA is at the TRINTELLA Shipyard in 's Hertogenbosch, out of the water. Hull and rudder are being serviced. Perhaps the anodes will be replaced and the transducer of the log will be repositioned, in order to get correct readings.

The genset has been inspected. Parts were replaced and there is an excellent list with recommended spare parts.

What we shall do with the main engine, is still uncertain.
