Lia, Ger en Kees voeren het schip naar Proctor in Breskens. Die plaatste de masten en controleerde en vernieuwde waar nodig het staand- en lopend want. Op de 'thuisreis' hadden wij een ongeluk bij het invaren van de Spaarndamse sluis. Die lag vol jachten. Wij voeren als laatste binnen met windkracht 6+ van achter. Toen raakte de schroefas los van de keerkoppeling! Paniek, het klassiek jachtschipper trauma. De schade viel mee. Geen persoonlijke ongelukken, lichte schade aan slechts één ander jacht. ANANDA heeft een verbogen boegsprietpreekstoel. Het schroefasprobleem was een montagefout. Het is inmiddels verholpen. De boeg is pas over twee weken klaar.

De kluslijst wordt steeds langer. Dat schijnt normaal te zijn. Wij kunnen nog best wat hulp gebruiken.

We regret to report that Kees' mother died suddenly and unexpected on May 9^th. She was 92 years and had just mentioned that she longed for a little sail with ANANDA 'if the weather would permit...'

Lia, Ger and Kees took the ship to Proctor in Breskens. They put the masts on and checked and renovated the stays and the running rigging. On the homeward journey we had an accident while entering the locks at Spaarndam. It was full with yachts. We came in last. The wind blew 6+ from behind. Then the propeller shaft got loose from the gearbox! Panic, the classical yacht skipper trauma. The damage was surprisingly little. No personal accidents, slight damage to one other yacht. ANANDA has a bent bowsprit. The shaft connection was due to a mounting error. It has been repaired in the meantime. The bow will only be ready after two weeks.

The list with things to do becomes longer every day. That seems to be normal. We can use a few hands.
